YUKARI YAMADA, R.N., Public Health.D., is a Senior Lecturer in the  the international education section of Medical Education Center (MEC) at Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. 

She teaches clinical communication and epidemiology to medical and health professional students. She is responsible for helping its undergraduate medical students to spend from two to three months in a foreign laboratory, where students can develop their research techniques and improve their communication abilities. As of 2020 she serves as faculty contact for Kyoto University for the program.
