Health Law and Ethics

Topic -Differences in Health Law and Health Ethics

Goal – practice international teamwork and collaboration, leadership in international setting, cultural competency

​

The forth session will be dedicated to Health Ethics and Law.  You will also work on the group’s poster you chose to participate. If you have time you can also begin working on 5-10 Powerpoint slides for a 5 minute presentation.

 Submission deadline is in April.

Health Ethics and Law:                 

  • What is your country’s position on the following ethical issues (select one): abortion, euthanasia, organ donation etc. 

 

Health Ethics and Law

  • Abortion

  • Euthanasia/Aid-in-Dying

  • Stem Cell and Embryonic Research

  • Infertility Treatment

  • Organ donation

  • Data safety and management/privacy laws

  • Rationing of care

At the end of session  each group will be asked to select one of the topics from any of the sessions in order to write a summary paper.

To do at end of session:

  • Agree on date

  • Select leader for next time

  • Write summary paper and add to your file

  • Begin thinking if your group would like to participate in the poster competition

  • Begin work on slides for the conference presentation  if you do want to participate
