Taipei
Taipei City is the capital as well as the political, economic, educational, and cultural center of Taiwan. It is a beautiful city blended with ancient and modern cultures, with antique buildings and streets located amidst sky-scrappers (including Taipei 101) and bustling night markets. It is also surrounded by natural sceneries, where people often go for a hike up the Elephant Mountain, visit the Shifen Waterfall, or relax themselves at the Beitou hot springs. Public transport is highly available and it is very convenient to travel around the city. Food-trip is a must to understand the Taiwanese, where you can lay your hands on interesting snacks like oyster omelet, fried chicken fillet, peanut-roll with ice-cream, stinky tofu, pearl milk tea, and many others!
