Dr. Nieves (Neus) Martínez-Abadías, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at University of Barcelona since 2019, teaching Human Anatomy and Biological Anthropology. Previous postdoctoral positions at PennState University (USA), Calgary University (Canada), Center for Genomic Regulation (Spain) and Staff Researcher at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). Her research combines morphometrics, 3D imaging, genetics and machine learning to understand human morphological variation, including variation associated with disease in genetic and neurodevelopmental disorders.
