Yae Kanai
Professor
Dr. Yae Kanai is a Professor and the Chair of the Department of Pathology at the Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan.
After obtaining her Ph.D. degree at the Keio University School of Medicine, she began her career as a researcher at the National Cancer Center Research Institute of Japan. She then came back to alma mater in 2015 and became a professor of the above mentioned department.
Her research interests focus on molecular pathology, cancer epigenomics, and multiomics analyses.
She is the Vice Dean and Head of International Collaboration, Gender Equality, and Biobanking at the Keio University School of Medicine and serves as the faculty contact for the ICE program.
