The Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki educates health care specialists, including physicians, dentists, psychologists and speech therapists as well as Master’s degree holders in translational medicine. In addition to carrying out teaching and research, the Faculty serves as an important authority in the field of health care and participates in ethics debates. The Faculty of Medicine is part of the Academic Medical Center Helsinki (AMCH).
